Senior Optimisation Strategist

Where You Come In

You are a senior member of our client delivery team, responsible for the strategic lead of significant long term conversion optimisation programmes with national and international brands. You will be a manager and mentor to other team members, who will look to you for guidance and support or themselves to truly flourish in their roles.

Your passion for optimising the full customer experience for various clients across all the major sectors is infectious and highly desirable, and you are willing to work incredibly hard to make a genuine, long term impact on the agency, our clients, and your personal growth.

You are a driving force within the agency, conceptualising, communicating and helping develop new or help enhance services for the agency, which will enhance further the commercial and operational value we offer to our clients.

You relish the responsibility of playing an integral role in bringing new significant accounts in the agency, working with our business development team and other senior members of the team to plan and deliver compelling client workshops and major pitches.

What You’ll Be Doing

Client Relationships
Provide senior, strategic leadership for conversion optimisation programmes
Provide senior, strategic leadership with other senior members of the team of user-centered redesign projects
Plan and run QBR’s, annual and post-project reviews and implement learnings to improve long term client satisfaction
Identify opportunities where we can deliver enhanced levels of value to our clients

Client Services
Provide specialist experience in conversion optimisation strategy
Provide specialist experience in at least one core area of conversion optimisation, such as user research activities including moderated research, development, UX design, psychology or data analysis
Run in-house collaborative workshops and client meetings
Plan and deliver QBRs, annual and end of project reviews and implement learnings to improve client satisfaction
Conduct a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to gain a rich understanding of user behaviour, motivations and expectations for a variety of clients
Plan, moderate, observe and analyse 1-1 user research sessions working in collaboration with the wider PRWD team

Performance Reporting
In collaboration with the other senior members of the team, provide monthly reports on the effectiveness and value being delivered for the clients partnerships you oversee
Provide clear and compelling reports and dashboard to your clients with your optimisation strategist colleagues
Deliver insightful post-test analysis, learnings and insights reports
Create and manage project documentation

Agency Strategy
Identify and help develop new products and services for the agency which will add value on various levels, both internally and from a client perspective

New Business
Represent the agency alongside other senior members of the team at discovery workshops and pitches for national and international client accounts

Management & Mentorship
Provide managerial support and mentorship to less experienced members of the team
Serve as line manager to less experienced members of the team
Run 1-2-1’s and quarterly development reviews with team members
Be apart of the recruitment process for bringing new people in to the agency
Be part of the Senior Operations Team alongside other senior members of the team who report in to the Head of UX and Optimisation

Testing & Hypotheses
Work with other PRWD strategists, data analysts, researchers, UX designers and developers to hypothesise and design test variations which significantly influence user behaviour and increase KPI’s for our clients

Personal and Agency Development
Identify opportunities to develop and deliver thought provoking presentations to the internal team at PRWD, client teams and forums which will enhance and enrich everyone’s understanding of conversion optimisation
Write thought provoking and powerful articles on the PRWD blog and external publications based upon your industry knowledge and experience
Work to develop new skills and knowledge and achieve your development goals

Essential Skills & Attributes

A minimum of 4 years experience in optimisation
Managerial and mentoring experience
Strong empathy and genuine humility
Experience in client facing roles were you’re responsible for sharing insights with senior decision makers
Experience in pitching or presenting to senior decision makers within a range of organisations
Very strong people and project management skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience using testing platforms including Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO, Qubit, Monetate and Adobe Target
Experience of behavioural analysis tools such as Google Analytics and HotJar
