Marketing Assistant

Purpose of Job

To help the generation of high-quality new business leads and increase the brand awareness of PRWD in the UX and CRO agency space through a variety of marketing strategies.

Reports to Dante Naylor, Marketing and Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

Marketing Content Plan

  • Research, develop and deliver a diverse marketing content plan that is informative, relevant and reflective of the services PRWD offer
  • Work collaboratively with the PRWD practitioners to generate thought-provoking and stimulating content (in all forms)
  • Proof-read and edit content in all forms
  • Create guidelines for content delivery (e.g. tone of voice) that aligns with PRWD’s brand guidelines and ensure it is adhered to
  • Measure the effectiveness of the content plan and pitch recommendations for improving performance
  • Update current and deliver new content that will improve PRWD’s organic rankings and paid acquisition performance

Social Media

  • Develop and deliver a social media strategy that increases brand awareness and stimulates engagement with both agency and client-side audiences
  • Measure the effectiveness of the social media strategy and pitch recommendations for improving performance
  • Manage the content and social media calendar to ensure deadlines are met

General Marketing Activities

  • Assist with copywriting of marketing collateral (e.g. case studies, brochures, landing pages)
  • Work alongside the marketing team to generate and qualify new business leads through online channels (such as PPC)
  • Assist with the management of external agencies and partners to the point of maintaining PRWD’s high-standard of marketing

Copywriting (for client work)

  • Potential involvement working with client sites to introduce and enhance their copywriting capability

About You

Must Have:

  • A love for storytelling, and a natural ability to engage a variety of audiences and prospects
  • Ability and willingness to source knowledge and research topics independently
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities, including long and short form content
  • Experience in creating and delivering content plans and managing content calendars
  • Knowledge of how to utilise various social media platforms to increase brand awareness (B2B experience is a plus)
  • Ability and willingness to experiment with various forms of content outside of editorial, i.e. video content
  • Ability to meet deadlines; to work cooperatively as a team player and independently
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and responsibilities effectively
  • An eagle-eyed attention to detail
  • A creative streak

Nice to have:

  • Willingness to learn about various other marketing strategies, i.e. PPC campaign
  • Understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, including the customer’s journey
  • Proficiency in Google Suites, Microsoft Office
  • Some experience in digital marketing is expected but not a pre-requisite
  • Bachelor’s degree in any subject (we welcome variety)
