Here’s 13 things that have made our year here at PRWD.
1. WE SHED OUR SKIN
After 9 years we thought our brand identity could do with a bit of a spruce up to bring it in line with how PRWD operate today. This included pushing out the rebrand across our website and involved getting some of our clients on camera to talk about their experience of working with us, such as Stuart McMillan from Schuh and Pete Taylor from The Student Room Group.
2. SERIOUS RELATIONSHIPS
This year we completed our 12 month conversion optimisation programme with The Student Room, Get Revising and Marked by Teachers. They’ve definitely caught the CRO bug with a new role created within their business, Director of Optimisation! Congratulations Pete. We’re looking forward to working with them for the next 12 months too.
3. WE TURNED NINE
We turned 9 this year and hosted 40 directors from amazing brands around the UK at our half day Conversion Rate Optimisation event, sharing our key tips for running optimisation programmes and creating a data driven culture. We then celebrated our 9th year with a birthday party with all our clients and contacts who have supported us over the years. Paul, owner of PRWD, then shared 9 Years, 9 Stories and 9 Business Lessons he’s taken from running PRWD over the years.
4. WE LED THE REDESIGN OF THE NORTH FACE CHECKOUT
PRWD worked on this exciting User-Centred Design project from initial sketching, to user testing prototypes and producing the final visual design.
5. WE HIT THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE
Our Director of Optimisation, Paul Rouke can often be found around the world speaking about CRO. This year was his first time at Conversion Conference in London and Germany. Get a copy of his slides on 10 areas to get right in Ecommerce.
6. WE SPENT OVER 200 HOURS USER TESTING
We’ve spent over 200 hours with users, from a 4 day end-to-end moderated testing session for a major banking client to international remote user testing for a very iconic British retailer.
7. WE’VE DONE END-TO-END TESTING
A first for PRWD, we carried out moderated user testing with a leading global banking client across desktop, tablet and mobile, covering the end-to-end user experience, online and offline communication points and the mobile application.
8. WE’VE RUN OVER 75 A/B & MVT TESTS
We’ve run more tests this year than ever before. From small copy tests to radical overhauls of key pages. We’re aiming to at least double this number next year. Exciting times ahead.
9. WE SUPPORTED ALLSAINTS AS THEY WENT RESPONSIVE
AllSaints worked extremely hard on a design and build sprint that allowed them to completely redesign their experience in a matter of months. During this time PRWD were on hand to offer some of our expertise gained on responsive projects.
10. GIRL POWER
We’re glad to have two new members join the team this year. Both had previously worked for PRWD and just couldn’t stay away. Sophia our Conversion Optimisation Strategist flew back from Sydney, Australia to join the team and Katie joined to look after our Marketing and Operations function.
11. LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Three members of our team all got engaged this year (not to one another!). Love is clearly in the air. Congratulations to Sophia & Jake, Matt & Rachel and Katie & Jason.
12. WE DEVELOPED A PARTNERSHIP WITH OPTIMIZELY
We’re glad to be one of only a few agencies in the UK to be platinum partners with testing tool, Optimizely. Kindly, Matt Althauser General Manager of EMEA at Optimizely also flew over from their Amsterdam offices to speak at our Conversion Optimisation event sharing a few Optimizely stories, including how they supported and optimised the US elections.
13. WE HELPED A MAJOR MULTI-CHANNEL RETAILER LAUNCH THEIR NEW RESPONSIVE WEBSITE
Having helped run workshops on filtering, navigation and the checkout, as well as providing wireframes we were delighted to launch a best in class responsive website.
BONUS – WE’RE STILL GROWING
It’s been a great year for PRWD and all of our clients. Our mission as a business is to working with clients over many years and we’re glad to say that we will be continuing to work with the majority of our clients on new projects in 2014, with a range of new client projects also kicking off early next year. This means we’re looking for our fifth member to join our team. Check out our Conversion Optimisation Strategist role and read how Sophia the latest member to join the team found her first week in the role.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Paul, Matt, Sophia and Katie
