This is a technique where PRWD design and build a fun, interesting and challenging game suited to a clients industry. The game would include high score tables to ensure people can challenge each other. A link to the game is then emailed out to either the clients current email contacts or specific email lists of consumers targeted to the clients industry. Providing both the relevancy of the email, the game link and the appeal and incentives of the game being high, there is the potential that the game can be played and forwarded on to friends and colleagues. The term for this is viral marketing, whereby the game players themselves are marketing your brand and business by forwarding links to your site.
