Hi [Firstname1,fallback=], This month we are following on from last month's newsletter which explained about our proposition for micro businesses and SME’s – usability focussed website design and development. LEAD ProgrammePaul Rouke is currently 3/4 through the first 10 month LEAD programme, which he chose to go on with The Manufacturing Institute with us already working with many manufacturing businesses in the North West. The LEAD programme features lots of shared learning, where managing directors of small businesses with less than 20 employees build up levels of trust which would normally be unheard of between business owners who have just met. In addition, every 3-4 weeks there is an afternoon masterclass, where an experienced specialist provides a wealth of knowledge, tips and insights in a wide variety of areas, such as people management, innovation, financial planning, motivitation, leadership and marketing. Masterclass - Generating More Leads and More Sales from your WebsiteAs well as taking part in the programme, Paul delivers a masterclass for LEAD, with a not so short and snappy title of ‘Generating More Leads & More Sales from your website’. The 2.5 hour masterclass provides attendees with the tips, techniques and advice on the following:
Paul is also planning on delivering this masterclass to other audiences of business owners who are keen to understand how they can improve the affectiveness of their websites and online strategy. Get in touch with us if you or someone you know are interested in more details. An example of the types of areas Paul’s masterclass covers can be seen on this event presentation ‘Three Steps to Improving Online Performance’. User and Customer Research and TestingOne of the really important aspects of usability is gaining insights from user, visitors and customers. Rob has recently wrote an article titled ‘Exit, Voice and Loyalty in Web Usability’ which talks about the differences in the types of response you can get from individuals who you ask for their opinions. During the last few months we have taken part in a variety of user and customer research as follows:
For the intranet diagnostic for Hyde Group we were delighted to receive the following testimonial from the Communications Director David Boardman: “PWRD have delivered exactly what was required of the project and done so in an extremely efficient way. The information gained from respondents, both qualitative and quantitative, helped to reinforce the need for change and gave a clear direction for travel. It was a pleasure working with PWRD and I would highly recommend them to add value and deliver real results.” For the lab usability testing for retailer Isabella Oliver, testimonials included: “The fact that I would repeat the usability tests in the future is testament to the invaluable findings from the tests and the level of expertise provided by PRWD.” For more client testimonials our homepage has been updated to allow you to flick through a wide range of testimonials for some of our primary services. Irrespective of which type of user and customer research you carry out, it is almost guaranteed to provide a range of issues with the usability of your website which if improved will help to increase leads, sales and overall user satisfaction. Have a great week, PRWD |
